New The new ReactX foam midsole offers 13% more reactivity than previous React technology.
Designed with performance and the planet in mind, Nike ReactX foam reduces the carbon footprint of a pair of midsoles by at least 43%. This is made possible by reducing the energy used in the manufacturing process compared to the previous React foam. The carbon footprint of ReactX is based on an assessment of the entire production chain by PRé Sustainability B.V. and Intertek China. Other midsole components such as air chambers, plates or other foam formulations were not considered.
