UPPER

The upper has been improved since the last model to reduce the weight of the shoe, but it is constructed using the same last as the Air Zoom Pegasus 40.

OUTSOLE

MIDSOLE

The midsole is made from Nike's React foam material, which, together with the Air Zoom units under the heel and forefoot, provides the runner with a springy and responsive feel.

Inefficient cushioning, with a very soft start and quickly bottoming out. Also, it seems as if the midsole is defective as it transmits irregularity to the stride. Not a recommended model, which ruins the reputation of previous Pegasus.
