The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v5 is a competition running shoe for road developed to run fast and seek the best performance in races. Its construction combines a 100% PEBA FuelCell foam midsole with a carbon fibre plate, creating a reactive stride with a marked sense of propulsion in every step.

The Energy Arc technology combines the specific geometry of the carbon plate with strategically placed channels in the midsole. This configuration is designed to store energy during compression and promote greater energy return during toe-off. In addition, the plate offers greater rigidity in the forefoot to enhance the feeling of forward motion and make the transition to the next stride more efficient.
