my level is at 57 years old, 36 for 10km and 1h20 for half marathon. I run 5x/week, 3 easy runs and 2 sessions. That's 80km/week. I just reordered the same shoe a year later, and I'm still amazed. It works everywhere. Sure, I run the 10km and half marathon with carbon shoes, but I do all my training (except speed sessions) with this shoe. From 12x800 to 4x3000 on road or trails, it's great. I put my orthotic insoles in them without any problem. In short, my rotations are simple, instead of 4 different shoes I have 3 wave rider 29 (1 for my long runs from 1h15 to 2h), 1 for my threshold sessions like 3x3000, 5x2000 etc., and 1 for my sessions of 8x1000 or 6x1500. And given the price and durability (1000km with them and they're just starting to sag!!), after 25 years of running at a good regional level, I can say it's the one that has impressed me the most with its versatility.
