The METASPEED SKY TOKYO shoe is a competition product par excellence, designed for long-stride runners who want to start at a good pace and finish even faster. Runners wearing these shoes will increase their speed by lengthening their stride and saving energy with every step.

The new FF LEAP foam technology is super lightweight and reactive. It is strategically placed in the lower layer of the midsole to provide more cushioning and greater energy return. The upper layer of the midsole features FF TURBO PLUS cushioning. This configuration improves the foam's response properties while creating better stability during the support phase of your stride.

Thanks to a higher plate positioning and thicker midsole at the toe (compared to the METASPEED EDGE TOKYO shoe), you will experience greater energy return and a longer stride length. This feature will help you break the 30 km barrier and maintain your pace in the final stages of the race.

UPPER

The upper of this shoe features an asymmetrical mesh design. It features different colours on the medial and lateral corners for visual appeal.

OUTSOLE

The grippier outsole of the Superblast 2 is designed to minimise weight, now with ASICSGRIP rubber strategically placed to provide protection where it's needed and with cutouts in areas where it's not.

MIDSOLE

The midsole combines FF BLAST PLUS and FF TURBO PLUS cushioning. This foam, also found in our METASPEED™ racing models, creates one of the lightest and most dynamic running experiences.
