Maurten

Energy Drinks technical description

Neutral Cafeine ref. MAU_10402-1 | brand ref. 10402-1
The Maurten Drink Mix 320 CAF 100 is an energy drink with caffeine developed to provide a high amount of carbohydrates during endurance training and competitions. Once prepared, it provides 80 g of carbohydrates, 320 kcal and 100 mg of caffeine per 500 ml, allowing energy, hydration and caffeine to be combined in a single serving.

It uses Maurten's Hydrogel Technology. When mixed with water and reaching the acidic environment of the stomach, the ingredients form a hydrogel containing the carbohydrates. Subsequently, this structure breaks down in the intestine and releases the carbohydrates for absorption.

The formula combines maltodextrin and fructose as carbohydrate sources and adds 100 mg of caffeine per serving. It contains no flavourings or colourings to mask the taste of the caffeine, retaining Maurten's characteristic neutral flavour.
