Gel technical description

ref. SAMA_204-10 | brand ref. 204-10
The Santa Madre Unusual Gel 45CHO 100 CAF is a liquid energy gel developed to provide a high amount of carbohydrates during endurance training and competitions. Each 80 g gel provides 45 g of carbohydrates, 100 mg of caffeine and 200 mg of sodium, combining energy intake, stimulation and sodium replenishment in a single format.

Its formulation uses a 1:1 carbohydrate ratio and is especially aimed at high-intake nutritional strategies, such as those reaching 90 g or more of carbohydrates per hour. Its liquid texture makes it easy to consume during exercise, even when it is more difficult to ingest solid foods.

The inclusion of 100 mg of caffeine per gel differentiates this version from the caffeine-free one. Therefore, it can be used strategically at times of greater exertion during races or prolonged training sessions. Caffeine contributes to increasing alertness and attention, so it is advisable to take into account the total amount of caffeine consumed together with other products.
