The METASPEED EDGE TOKYO shoe is a competition product par excellence, designed for runners who base their style on cadence and seek to start at a good pace and finish even faster. Athletes wearing these shoes will see their speed increase, as they will increase their stride count and conserve energy with every step they take.

The new FF LEAP foam technology is super lightweight and reactive. It is strategically placed in the upper layer of the midsole to provide more cushioning and greater energy return. The lower layer of the midsole features FF TURBO PLUS cushioning. This configuration improves the foam's response properties while creating better stability so that the heel does not sink halfway through.

Thanks to a carbon plate, runners wearing these shoes will be able to save more energy while maintaining their pace in the final stages of the race. This feature will also help you break through the 30 km barrier.

UPPER

The upper of this shoe features an asymmetrical mesh design. It features different colours on the medial and lateral corners for visual appeal.

OUTSOLE

The grippier outsole of the Superblast 2 is designed to minimise weight, now with ASICSGRIP rubber strategically placed to provide protection where it's needed and with cutouts in areas where it's not.

MIDSOLE
